Disappointed!!
I attended the Roseland Ballroom concert with my boyfriend, who is a big fan of Chiodos and had never seen her perform before. Disappointed with the experience, I arrived at the venue at 7pm but didn't get inside until almost 9pm due to the long line. The concert, which was supposed to start at 8pm, began closer to 10pm. Unaware of the setup at the Roseland Ballroom, I was surprised to find out there were no seats and it was standing room only despite my ticket indicating a seat number. Once Chiodos came out at approximately 10pm, I tried to put everything behind me, but I could only see her from the shoulders up for most of the show. While she engaged the crowd well, many around me stopped trying to see her and just listened to the music. Despite her excellent performance, I was disappointed in not being able to fully enjoy the show. I believe she has one of the best voices in the business; however, I would have preferred a better view. I have been to other Chiodos performances at Madison Square Garden, and I still plan to attend more concerts in the future, just not at this venue. The $232 dollars I paid for two tickets was not worth it.
